We frequently hold herbal mutual aid days where we invite people from the community to help us make herbal preparations that we then distribute for free to people in need.  We often work with our local warming center, the unhoused, low income neighbors, etc.  Dozens and dozens of herbal medicine gets donated into the hands of people who need it!

In just one short year we have been able to make and donate:  various herbal teas, pain relief capsules, cold & cough oxymels, anti itch sprays, pain relief salves, warming muscle salves, all purpose salves, and more.

As the herbalists at Bloodroot, we plan, formulate, gather and prep the materials as well as teach others how to prepare the products.  But these days require more resourcing than what we can provide.  We need help with labor and funds to cover costs of materials - and this junction is where mutual aid lives!
